But, even though I don’t work overtime, working intensely can affect how much I enjoy my life. On the other hand, I have so many interests and can enjoy life so well. Once I get excited, I work like I’m running out of time, I work like tomorrow never comes. There are always tons of methods to learn. It’s a job without fixed working hours, meaning that I could work as least as I can, or as much as I can. But, I chose a job that never ends: doing research. Yes, as a highly efficient person, I usually finish work faster than others. Then I started to think whether my working style (once stop, wanna get it done asap) really matches my job, whether I should adjust my working style. It was not the work I enjoy, but the work I have to do. Two days ago, after working for 6.5 hours continuously without taking a break, I went back home, exhaustively. So usually after I work my ass off for a period of time, I take a long vacation. I always believe “work hard, play hard”, like my dad. I’m always trying to balance work and life. I remember one night after a concert, I walked by a park with so many people sitting there watching an old fashion movie. People don’t seem like they are lazy, nor too stressful. It’s not a city with many tourism attractions like Paris or New York. After my visit, I like Vienna not just for its music, its concerts, but for its lifestyle.
